What is a camp?
A.

Camps are consecutive days of sessions held during the school holidays. Each day of the week, children experience a different sport.

These differ to weekly classes, which happen once per week during the school term.

Can I enrol on a daily basis instead of the full week for holiday camps?
A.

We understand that flexibility is important for some families, and we do offer drop-in camp options that allow enrollment on a daily basis. However, for our regular holiday camps, all enrolments must be made for the entire week.

If you prefer a drop-in camp, simply look for the camps specified as drop-in camps in our schedule. These camps allow you to choose specific days for enrollment based on your preferences and availability.

For our full-week camps, we highly encourage committing to the entire week as it provides a more comprehensive and consistent experience for your child. Our programs are designed to build skills progressively throughout the week, and attending all the sessions helps ensure maximum benefit and enjoyment for your child.

For weekly camps, do I need to enroll in all the weeks, or can choose any of the weeks?

We understand that flexibility is important, and our camp enrollment process is designed to accommodate your preferences. For our weekly camps, you have the option to enroll on a week-by-week basis, allowing you to choose the specific weeks that work best for you and your child.

Our prices are stated as weekly prices to reflect this flexible enrollment approach, unless we specifically advertise or display a drop-in option for certain camps.

If you would like to enroll for multiple weeks, you can easily do so by selecting the desired weeks on your enrollment form. This way, you can secure a spot for your child in the camps of your choice and plan accordingly for their participation.

We want to make the enrollment process as seamless as possible for you. I would like more information on private classes.
A.

Private classes are a great way to enjoy the world of sport right at your doorstep, at times that suit your group.
These classes follow the same sport rotation as our public classes do:

Term 1 (Aug-Dec 2023): Rugby, Basketball, Hockey
Term 2 (Jan-Mar 2024): Tennis, Football, Athletics + Ball Games

Private classes begin with a one off, paid trial (subject to availability), before cycles of 6 classes are secured.

Afternoon Private Classes
We require a minimum of 5 students to start afternoon private classes, or groups of less than 5 students are able to split the fee between them (5 x $300). At certain venues, there is also a travel fee that must be shouldered by the group. The fee for classes of 6-10 students remains at $300 per student.

Morning Private Classes
We require a minimum of 4 students to start afternoon private classes, or groups of less than 4 students are able to split the fee between them (4 x $300). At certain venues, there is also a travel fee that must be shouldered by the group. The fee for classes of 6-10 students remains at $300 per student.

Our private classes take place at the below times, subject to availability.

Weekdays: 9am, 11am, 3pm, 5pm
Weekends: 3pm, 5pm

Private class students receive end of term reports that provide parents with feedback from our coaching term (December 2023 & June 2024).

What Type of Venue is Suitable?
With regards to suitable venues, we generally require the size of a squash court to hold sessions, but bigger spaces may be suitable depending on the group size & age of the students.

How do I book a Minisport Party?
A.

Booking Process
The first step for booking a minisport party is to complete the party enquiry form:https://www.jotform.com/222496002872455

Our Party Co-ordinator will then contact you via WhatsApp to discuss your proposed event in more detail. Should the requested time slot be available, then the party booking form will be sent to you. Note that a $1,400 deposit is required at the booking stage of this process.

On the Wednesday leading up to your event, our Party Co-ordinator will set up a WhatsApp group with your coaching team and our operations staff to ensure smooth communication leading up to the big day.

Further Information
Minisport parties are a fantstic way to entertain groups of children at a wide range of events. We do this through drawing upon a wide range of non-sport specific games designed to engage large groups of children with varied interests.
Our standard Minisport parties include games such as:
Tug of War
Clean Your Yard
Sharks & Fishes
Pirate Ships
Mr. Snake
Relay Races
Sleeping Dragons
Ball Chain Races
Treasure Hunts

Party packages are priced as below:
1 coach for upto 12 kids: $2,000
2 coaches for upto 24 kids: $2,800
3 coaches for uptown 36 kids: $3,800

Note that parties are subject to a transport fee which can vary depending on the venue.

Minisport is not responsible for the booking or payment of any venues unless otherwise agreed.

Simply leave us a WhatsApp messsage on 5409 6512 to let us know your child’s name, your email used on the Minisport app and state that this is the case and we will ensure that they are not included in any promotion

Once we receive your message, our team will take immediate action to ensure that your child's privacy is protected and that they are not included in any promotional material.
